upon receiving my new Nikon D3000, I decided to start a 365 project of taking photos of my children (or of child-related things) in order to learn more about my camera, rather than just always setting it for 'auto'. this would also have the additional benefit of ready-made grandparent gifts for xmas 2011.

of course, illness and computer crashes have already messed with the schedule, so it's become the 365(ish) project. let's see how the rest of this year goes...
