rock & roll

does a roll-over count if the positioning is conducive?  baby girl was fascinated by daddy's music making, so i thought it would be sweet if i could capture it.  after trying various unsatisfactory shots, i finally laid her down with her arms and chest on his leg, and by the time i got into position, she had rolled over and down...
but still kept her eyes on daddy.

this was actually the second time she rolled over for me, but the first was on the bed and she, of course, rolled toward me as i was "downhill"...  so, when does it *really* count?

doh!

it is only fitting that my husband's child would want to have his hands on some dough...

death match nap

we just think it's funny that our daughter finally takes a decent nap (that isn't actually on one of us) to the relaxing, soothing sounds of a Call of Duty death match.

snuggie

AKA daddy's fuzzy brown shirt
my kids like to run around in just their underwear 90% of the time, even when i'm freezing in 2 layers.  our sunroom is especially cold, and i talked my son into putting dad's shirt on backwards while playing computer games.
like a snuggie...  except much higher quality fabric.

blue steel

my husband had dressed baby girl in this outfit while i was at work.  i *love* how it's such a mishmash and tried to get a decent picture of it in all it's glory, but failed miserably.  i had given up, and laid her on the bed to see if i could catch the ever elusive roll-over instead, when she gave me her "look".
expect to one day see the A.C.Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good And Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too, and hear her do some awesome eugoogolizing.

(by the way, i googled "eugoogolize" to make sure i was spelling it 'correctly', and think it's hilarious that google asked me if i meant "eugoogolizer"...  pop culture WIN!)

a little explanation of the title:

~shirt & shoes were originally my oldest son's, and worn by both boys
~leggings were originally made from a pair of adult knee socks for my younger son

~skirtie is an upcycled cashmere sweater (only "new" item in the outfit, as grammie purchased from etsy)
~the cloth diaper you can't see is a mother-ease one size fitted that was originally purchased by me for the oldest, then sold to a friend when i switched to pockets. i bought back from that friend to use with younger son when i decided i hated pockets and missed my MEOS.

(hand-me-downs rule!)
