hi ho, the derry-o

today was the annual farm party that Victory Farms throws for its CSA members.  This is our second year as CSA members, but our first attending the party.  thankfully it wasn't as hot as it had been earlier in the week, although it was pretty damn humid.  the food was delicious~  each family brought a side dish to share~ and the kids enjoyed the drummers...

it was also nice to take a walk through the fields and see some of the crops that will eventually make their way to our table.
