shadow
the eldest has been wearing his 2009 Mario Halloween costume hat (made by grammie) for the last two days. the best part is that he puts his Sonic stuffy in the hat, so that it sits up all puffy on top. i wanted to take his picture this morning but he kept hiding from me.
i loved this shot i caught of him behind the curtain~ i kept expecting him to jump out and shout "DANGER" and then start talking about "unagi"...
i did manage to sneak a shot of him when i got home from work as he & his brother played Shadow the Hedgehog, so you can see him in his fullgeeky fan glory.

super [sonic] bros
putting the new-to-us cardboard blocks and a construction paper "pipe" to use, the boys created a Mario-esque course for Sonic the Hedgehog (and Tails, not pictured here) and had me take lots of pics.
i see another stop-action film* in our future...

get a clue
my husband introduced the boys to Clue a few months ago, and yesterday the eldest decided he wanted to play again. they've been at it for a while this morning (yes, it's only 8 AM, but these dudes are up at 6ish). they have actually retained a few of the rules, but are mostly just making it up as they go.
much like us.
